An economist rationalizes that democracy is good because pirates did it first.
The reason I picked it up was because, at the time, I was spending a lot of time in Ethereum circles. You can probably guess that it was popular with them. However, by the time I had gotten around to reading it I had thoroughly soured on the idea of democracy. Most of the percieved conclusions of the author were laughable or absurd.
Maybe I’ll re-read it someday, although I wouldn’t bet on it.
